Attorney Profile

My desire to serve others led me to start my own law firm to focus on estate planning, probate and trust administration issues. Prior to attending law school, I spent nearly a decade in the financial services industry. I am a native Oregonian, and I received my undergraduate degree in French from Portland State University in 1997. In 1999, I moved to Boston to attend law school at Boston College, receiving my Juris Doctor in 2002. In order to fully serve my clients, I returned to school at the University of Washington School of Law in 2004, where I received my Master of Laws (LL.M.), a graduate law degree with a focus on taxation, held only by a very small percentage of lawyers nationwide.

I live in West Linn with my husband Albert and our daughter, Natalie, who keeps us both on our toes. When not taking Natalie to her ballet or violin lessons, all three of us can frequently be found hitting balls on the driving range at Willamette Valley Country Club. I also recently returned to the study of piano after a two decade hiatus, and am enjoying discovering my music again. In the winter, all of us spend several evenings per month cheering on the Portland Winterhawks hockey club. As Natalie says, "Go Hawks Go!"
